Before you submit your request, please contact our office for information on what kind of records we can provide and how we will process your request.

Vote-by-Mail Data Request

Vote-by-Mail voter information is only available to authorized members of the public as defined in Florida Election Law (section 101.62(3)).  To request access to the Vote-by-Mail voter data files, please complete the Vote-by-Mail Request Certification Form (DS-DE 70AB).

Voter Information as a Public Record

Most voter registration information is a public record, however voters' Social Security numbers, driver license or state identification card numbers, and the source of voter registration applications cannot be released or disclosed to the public.  Voter signatures can be viewed, but not copied. 

Voters with high risk professions or who have been the victim of certain crimes can request that their information be protected from disclosure. 

  • If you have been a victim of domestic violence or stalking, contact the Attorney General's Office Bureau of Advocacy and Grants Management at 850.414.3300 for instructions on how to become a participant in the Address Confidentiality Program. 
  • If you have a high-risk profession, you can submit a written request to each agency that may have your information.  Please complete the Public Records Exemption Request form (PDF) to submit your request.
